Where I've been. The story first, then the full timeline below.
Good Photon (Fonus)
In 2012 I founded my own small product studio after working at several companies in Tashkent. The name on paper was Good Photon, but I called it "Fonus". I liked that name a lot, but it was already taken, so I never managed to register it.
We were about seven people across design and engineering, and our thing was launch. We built the first version of MyTaxi, several versions of Daryo (the #1 news site in Uzbekistan), a couple of mobile applications (one very close to Instagram), and user interfaces for music streaming and attendance tracking services.
I never stopped engineering during this time — I learned Node, Django, Mongo, and other technologies; the rest of the time I was dealing with hiring, taxes, customer relationships, finance, and more.
Those years, mistakes included, reshaped me. The studio taught me more by breaking than by working.
One of the studio's clients was Super Dispatch. I joined it as CTO — and brought the whole team with me. I've been there ever since, and it's the reason I ended up in Kansas City.
Super Dispatch
Super Dispatch helped me become a very different person. Over the years there I grew the engineering team out from the few who came over with me into a distributed organization, and lately I've been focused on making the whole company AI-native.
It's also where my traveling began. I first set foot in the US in 2016, and I kept exploring from there — a good chunk of those 24 countries trace back to this chapter. Seeing the US up close is something I'd wish on everyone: the quiet order of Kansas City, the age and wear of New York, the cactus and neon of Las Vegas, the nature and tech of California, the mountains of Colorado. Each one felt like its own country.
The team was (and is) amazing — I had the chance to learn from the best and make friends in different parts of the world. I'm always grateful to the people who helped me grow there.

Super Dispatch
2016–now
cto, lead product architect
Joined with my team from Good Photon (the same five people who
built the first version). CTO 2016–2021, growing engineering
into a distributed org across Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and
the US; led product design until 2022, from the first design
system to the native design kits for iOS and Android. Now a
hands-on architect role: security, reliability, and making the
whole org AI-native.

Good Photon (Fonus)
2012–2016
founder & CEO
A small product studio in Tashkent, about seven of us across
design and engineering. We built MVPs for startups: the first
version of MyTaxi, and the first version of Super Dispatch, plus
long runs on Daryo, Lamuz, Workly, and Muloqot. I liked Super
Dispatch so much I never stopped working on it.
-
SSD Software Solutions
2010–2012
development lead
Tech lead for a multimedia desktop app built on Adobe AIR.
Helped grow the team from 2 engineers to 10+ while giving
technical and design direction across the product.
-
Perfectum Mobile
2008–2010
software engineer
Telecom systems: Oracle PL/SQL, Unix utilities parsing binary
protocol data, a PHP dashboard on top. I prototyped tools in
Python, then rewrote the performance-critical parts in C.
-
Finnet Limited / DataSite
2007–2008
software engineer
PHP developer on motors.co.uk, then helped the company go
mobile: I built their first iOS app and mentored the team to get
it moving. First Hackintosh experience.
-
Institute for Development of Professional Education
2005–2007
software engineer
Education software and sysadmin work, plus a desktop-publishing
detour that got me my first Mac.
-
Profsoft Research Center
2003–2005
design engineer
Where it all started: a university research lab with a generous
crowd of peers. Web, desktop, 3D graphics, game engines,
teaching apps. I'm still grateful to the peers and mentors who
helped me grow.
